We have joined together with as a group of volunteers from the U.S. as well as from Puerto Peñasco, Northern Sonora , Mexico to share in a cooperative effort providing the following services.

  • Medical and rehabilitation services, supplies and education.

  • Coordination of volunteer services, housing and training.

  • Repair and construction of homes and community facilities.

  • We are also providing donated equipment and therapy supplies to the Tohono O' odham Nation in Arizona and assisting with the relief projects of other non-profit agencies.
  • Manos de Ayuda conducts monthly free clinics in Puerto Penasco, Sonora, MX. We have developed a clinic through the donation of moble homes and former mobile clinics on land donated in one of the poorest areas of Puerto Penasco. These clings provide evaluation and treatments for children with multiple medical and therapy needs. Children come from Puerto Penasco and many other areas of Mexico. We also assist with obtaining medical interventions for children with sever problems, through other organizations.

    In order to continue our work, and expand our services, we gratefully accept donations. Our work has already enabled us to treat a number of children and adults, as well as providing much needed wheelchairs, medical equiptment and supplies, and materials to rebuild or improve many homes. We also provide ongoing training and education for local residents to continue services in our absence. Whether your contributions may be financial, supplies and/or equipment, or your time and expertise, many will benefit from your support.

    The goals of Manos de Ayuda, Inc. are to:

    • coordinate volunteer services and relief supplies
    • provide a means of continuing and increasing medical, rehabilitation, and humanitarian services.

    Initially, services are being provided in Puerto Peñasco, but the plan is to complete the permanent clinic site, day care / early intervention center and volunteer housing, and then expand the scope to other areas in Mexico. Manos de Ayuda has expanded the donation program to other cities in Mexico, as well as providing equipment and supplies to the Tohono O'odham Nation in Arizona. In order to continue our work we are always in need of volunteers, donations and financial support. Volunteers from all professions are needed to assist with the special projects and the day to day operations of our non-profit corporation. All types of medical and rehabilitation supplies and equipment, as well as other relief supplies can be put to use and are always welcome. Individual and corporate donations are needed to support the endeavors of Manos de Ayuda.
